22 Autobody is a family owned body shop located on Highway 22 just outside of Strathroy. Ron Fischtner learned the skill of auto body from his father; George Fischtner Sr. and brother, George Fischtner Jr. and is proud to have taught the trade to his son; Ronny Jr.
We have been in business for over 35 years and remained an independently owned and operated body shop. It was never our goal to partner with any of the larger chains of auto body repairers; instead we have focused on providing great quality work to our customers and educating ALL customers on choosing the shop of their choice rather then having their insurance company steer them to the shop that they have negotiated contracts with.
We have fully-licenced auto technicians, computerized estimating, frame machine, and clean fresh air spray booth. We do quality repairs on all makes and models of cars and trucks. We deal with all insurance companies, arrange for car rentals and handle all aspects of collision work.
We were honoured in 2018 when we were voted Best Service Award in Strathroy Caradoc. Our commitment to our trade was recognized in 2015 when we were awarded by Fanshawe College the Apprenticeship Award; recognizing our efforts to have all employees finish the apprenticeship program and become journey-men and women.
We are indebted to our community for our success, and we support our community with donations to Strathroy Rockets, Rotary, Lions, Salvation Army, MS, VON, Hometown Festival, Royals Jr Baseball, and various others.
Our mission is very simple; provide quality repairs in all aspects; safety, appearances, cost and time. We treat every customer with respect and honesty and value all the friends we have made this way.
